After having to go on the disabled list because of a calf injury, it appears that Derek Jeter will be ready to return to the Yankees lineup on Monday.

The Yankees' captain is just six hits shy of 3,000.  If he returns on Monday, he might have an opportunity to break the record at home when the Yankees play a series just before the All-Star Break.

Jeter had been eligible to come off the DL on Wednesday, but wasn't ready.  He'll play in a minor league rehab assignment this weekend.
