With more than four weeks between game, bowl preparations this season have been like a second spring practice.

All the better for LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson to work on his game. Jefferson struggled through an up and down year which finished on the down in a 31-23 loss at Arkansas. But he and offensive coordinator Gary Crowton feel like the extended bowl preps have given him a chance to make a splash in the Cotton Bowl and build momentum for next season.
