The New Orleans Hornets have a familiar face back at training camp after agreeing to terms with power forward Jason Smith yesteday. The 25 year old 7 footer signed a 3 year deal worth $7.5 million.

Smith started 6 games last year for the fleur-de-bees, but spent most of his time backing up David West, and at times, Emeka Okafor. While Smith's primary position is power forward, he can play Center as well.
Last season, he averaged 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.3 minutes per game.
He cited his relationship with head coach Monty Williams (pictured left with Smith) and his staff as the main reason he chose to resign with the Hornets.
