Jason Pierre-Paul Has Finger Amputated

We caution kids all the time about the dangers of fireworks.

Maybe it's time to educate the adults, too.

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul had a finger amputated today after burning both hands in a fireworks mishap.  A source says Pierre-Paul expects to play this season.

The Giants place the franchise tag on Pierre-Paul but he has not signed off on it.  He has until July 15th to sign a long term contract, otherwise he'll play under the $14.8 million tender.
