NFL Scouts are looking at Jamal Robinson for a reason, and the Ragin' Cajuns WR was asked to make some honest appraisals of his offense.

After collecting four straight bowl rings, the Cajuns find themselves with a losing record after nine games in the books. Most fans, and players, wanted more this season for the senior class. Does it feel hollow for Jamal? How would it not?

Robinson isn't letting the turbulent season bring him down. Last week, he nabbed ten balls on his way to a career high. What's his motivation at this point?

"Losing...and wanting the feeling of winning is what's keeping us going," Robinson said. "We just want to get the 'W' and get that feeling again."

When healthy, Robinson is an automatic double team on the outside. The problem is, defenses haven't respected the run and pass game at the same time for the Cajuns all year. When one clicks, the other misfires. When the pass games looks primed to contribute, the run game all of a sudden falls flat.

Jamal isn't Ron Jaworski, but he does watch some tape. He doesn't wear a coaching cap either, but he does make a hell of a lot of sense.

"Every team we're facing is trying to stack the box to stop Eli [McGuire]," Robinson said. He added, "I ain't trying to be a coach or nothing...they're just stacking the box every game, so it's kind of hard."

Robinson then suggested they possibly try to get McGuire on the outside, which is a concept Hudspeth somewhat balked at when asked directly in his press conference. Is there so little belief in Torrey Pierce as a backup RB that McGuire can't even see a snap in the slot?

It just seems like handing the ball off to "The Prophet" with a full head of steam, or getting it to him on a slant or seam route (I've seen him beat Jamal Robinson in a catching competition with my own eyes) with some green grass would be a great idea...or a great distraction.

As a journalist, I won't put words into Jamal's mouth. I just know he's making too much sense for it not to hit the field. After all, he does play on that offense.
