There is certainly no denying that Houston Texans defensive end J.J.Watt is an outstanding athlete.

The 24-year old Watt, who was named the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, is 6-foot-5, and 290 pounds, but yet can run the 40-yard dash in 4.81 seconds, and maybe even more impressive, can do a standing jump from 59.5 inches off of the ground, as this video shows.

Watt, who was drafted by the Texas in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, set a new franchise record, with 20.5 sacks in 2012.

Just in case you're wondering, this guy, Kevin Bania, has the unofficial box jump record, at 64.4375 inches.
