The rumored transfer of former LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings has become a fact.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns announced Thursday afternoon that Jennings has signed a  grant-in-aid to play for the Cajuns in the 2016 season.

Jennings will have one season of eligibility remaining.

He played in 24 games in his LSU career with 13 starts.  He was 9-4 as the starting quarterback.

Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth said Jennings will compete for the starting quarterback job in the fall.

Jennings was a consensus four star prospect out of high school.
