The top two teams in college football will square off on Saturday evening, as the top-ranked LSU Tigers travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to take on the second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Both teams are 8-0 overall, and 5-0 in the SEC.

First place is the SEC West is on the line, as well as a possible trip to both the SEC title game, as well as the BCS National Championship.

College football fans have been pointing to this match-up the whole year.

The game will mark the 46th time, since the Associated Press began a poll back in 1936, that the top two teams in that poll have met, but only the 25th time during the regular season.

So, is this game the most highly anticipated in college football regular season history?
