Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Symptoms of the condition can cause easy bruising, easy bleeding, fatigue, and abnormal weight loss.

Pagano is already undergoing chemotherapy treatment. He'll also use drugs and radiation in his fight to beat leukemia. He is scheduled to be hospitalized for the next six to eight weeks.

Pagano is 51-years old and in his first season with the Colts. It also marks his first season ever as a head coach.

Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will take over as the interim coach while Pagano is away.
