View this incredible play, by Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias, during a game against the Chicago White Sox on Monday night at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Illinois.

In the bottom half of the sixth inning, Josh Phegley has a pitch come in on his hands, and breaks his bat, as he muscles the ball just past the pitcher's mound.

Iglesias charges, fields the ball with his bare hand, and then delivers an incredible off-balanced throw to first base to retire Phegley.

It's one thing get to the ball, and even field it with the bare hand. It's quite another to complete the play by throwing out the runner.
