The press conference was barely over in Fayetteville last night when the speculation started concerning Bobby Petrino's successor as Arkansas head football coach.

And, although his name may not be prominently mentioned as  a possible replacement, Louisiana head football coach Mark Hudspeth is one of the names being listed.

Many sportswriters believe Arkansas will name an interim coach for the 2012 season, then search in earnest for a replacement.  Either way, Hud's name will be mentioned.

Cajun fans need to get used to it.  Leading the Cajuns to their first bowl in over 40 years and a nine win season, including a bowl win, makes Hud a hot commodity.

And, while there is likely nothing to it this time around, the more the Cajuns have success, the more Hud will move up the priority list when a high profile program is looking for a head coach.
