Life is good for Travis Scott.

In the last few weeks, he has performed at the Super Bowl, rocked the Grammys, threw his daughter an insane 1st birthday party for the ages, and performed his first headlining arena show in his hometown of Houston.

I was fortunate enough to be in the Toyota Center for Travis' show and it was nonstop energy from front to back. One of the highlights of the show was when the Mayor of Houston walked out on stage to show love for Travis by awarding him a key to the city.

The moment received one of the biggest ovations of the night—not only because Travis' fans were able to share such a special moment, but because during the presentation the mayor brought up 'AstroWorld'—which is the name of his most recent album and tour.

In numerous interviews, Travis has mentioned the nostalgic connection that 'AstroWorld' had with his childhood. The park was torn down in 2005, but the rapper/producer said he wants to bring it back, and his album reflects that.

They tore down ‘AstroWorld’ to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.

Travis has even gone as far as saying the closing down of 'AstroWorld' is what led him to make music in order to fill the void of the fun that was gone from his city. The crowd roared when the mayor said it may be coming back to H-town.

Travis we're so proud of you man. With 'AstroWorld' man. For those of us that remember 'AstroWorld.' And because of him, we want to bring another amusement theme park back to the city.

After hyping up the crowd due to his excitement, Travis went straight into 'Sicko Mode' to close out the show and it was incredible.

So, if you see 'AstroWorld' pop up in the future, you can thank Travis Scott.
