After losing 23 of 25 games, the New Orleans Hornets have won two in a row. Marco Belinelli (pictured left) made a career-high six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 22 points. Chris Kaman (18 pts, 10 reb) and Gustavo Ayon (12 pts, 12 reb) both chipped in with double-doubles to lead the Hornets past the Milwaukee Bucks by the score of 92-89.

The Hornets were short-handed once again. Starters Emeka Okafor, Jason Smith, Eric Gordon, Jarrett Jack, and Carl Landry all missed the game with injuries. Gordon, who has only played in 2 games this season, had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday morning. New Orleans is hoping he can return by April.

Trevor Ariza logged a game-high 46 minutes for the fleur-de-bees, scoring 14 points. The Hornets currently have 3 players in the roation that are signed to 10 day contracts. In other words, New Orleans is renting Donald Sloan, Lance Thomas, and Solomon Jones while the injured regulars work to get healthy. With all things considered, the two game winning streak is impressive for Monty Williams' squad.

The Hornets will try to make it 3 in a row on Friday in New York when they play Jeremy Lin and the Knicks. Lin and the Knicks are coming off a 100-85 victory over the Kings, their 7th straight.
