Hornets Tame Timberwolves

The New Orleans Hornets snapped a 4 game losing streak Saturday night with a gritty road win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. 28 assists on 39 field goals fueled the Hornets to a 95-89 victory.
Chris Kaman (pictured left) led New Orleans with an impressive stat line of 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. Jarrett Jack scored 17 and dished out 7 dimes as well.
It was a hard fought win for the Hornets, who were playing their 4th straight road game. It was their 10th game of the last 13 played away from the Hive.
“It’ll be nice to get some rest,” commented Kaman after the win. “I don’t think I’ve been to the Alario Center (Hornets practice facility) in a month.”
New Orleans returns home for a Monday night matchup against the Charlotte Bobbcats. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
