The New Orleans Hornets played their 4th game in 5 nights on Thursday, and it ended with the same result as the first 3...a defeat.

New Orleans lost their 19th game of the season last night, this time on the road to the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 93-81.

Starting point guard Jarrett Jack sat out with a sore knee. As a result, Greivis Vasquez made his first start as a Hornet, and 2nd start of his career. He finished with 16 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Marco Belinelli came off the bench for the fleur-de-bees, scoring 11 points while going 3-6 from beyond the arc. Carl Landry led all Hornet scorers with 17.

Mr. Fundamental Tim Duncan scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down 9 boards. He did this in only 22 minutes on the floor.

The Hornets will now travel to Detroit for a Saturday night matchup with the Pistons. Tip-off is set for 6:30.
