New Orleans had no answer for future hall of famer Tim Duncan Monday night. San Antonio's big man finished with a season-high 28 points, including a 13 foot hook shot with 1.4 seconds to go to help his Spurs defeat the Hornets 104-102.

Monday's defeat marks the 3rd straight game the Hornets lost by 2 points. All 3 games came against Southwest division opponents.

The loss is also their 8th consecutive and 14th overall. New Orleans (3-14) has not won a game at the Hive since their home opener back on December 28th.

New Orleans point guard Jarrett Jack did all he good offensively, finishing with 26 points and 9 assists. Carl Landry and Trevor Ariza both chipped with 18 a piece. Marco Belinelli added 12.

Aside from Tim Duncan, turnovers killed the Hornets. After only 6 turnovers through 3 quarters, New Orleans turned it over 8 times in the 4th.

The Hornets will attempt to stop the bleeding this Wednesday on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip-off from Chesapeake Energy Arena is set for 7:00.
