Hasselbeck Will Start For Seahawks

Matt Hasselbeck will start at quarterback, when the Seattle Seahawks host the New Orleans Saints, in the NFL playoffs, on Saturday.

Matt Hasselbeck will start at quarterback for the Seahawks in Saturday's NFC playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Thursday after practice.

Hasselbeck, who missed Seattle's season finale with a hip injury, had been sharing snaps this week with Charlie Whitehurst, who started Sunday night against the St. Louis Rams.
