Harrison Named Sun Belt Player of the Week

Louisiana outfielder Seth Harrison has been named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week.

The Cypress, TX senior hit .429 this past week with nine hits in five games.  He scored eight runs, drove in five and homered three times.

Harrison leads the Cajuns in hitting with a .359 average.  Fourteen of his 33 hits have gone for extra bases, including five home runs.

Harrison's performance helped lead the Cajuns to a 5-0 week and the #1 ranking in Collegiate Baseball this week.

The Cajuns have the longest winning streak in the nation at 12 games.

Louisiana (22-2.6-0 Sun Belt) will entertain Northwestern State and Southern in mid-week action before hosting Western Kentucky next weekend.
