Louisiana's Evan Guillory pitched the game of his career last Tuesday night against Northwestern State and he's being recognized for it.

Three times over.

Guillory today was named one of the national Players of the Week by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball and Pitcher of the Week by both the Sun Belt Conference and the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

The Jennings sophomore pitched a complete game one hitter against Northwestern State in the Cajuns' 4-0 win at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.  He allowed one hit, issued one walk and faced just one over the minimum, retiring the last fifteen batters he faced.  Guillory needed only 93 pitches in completing his masterpiece.

Guillory is 2-3 on the season with a 3.05 ERA in seven midweek starts, six of them coming on the road.  He is scheduled to be the starting pitcher for the Cajuns Tuesday night against Tulane at the "Tigue."  Game time is scheduled for 6pm.
