The LSU Tigers fell on the road in SEC play on Thursday night, dropping a 91-78 decision to the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, Georgia.

The win snaps a three-game losing streak for Georgia, who also put an end to LSU's modest two-game winning streak.

Georgia led LSU at halftime, 43-30, before going to to the 13-point victory.

LSU got to within three points, at 48-45 at the 14:32 mark, before Georgia pulled away once again, handing the Tigers their third-consecutive road loss.

The Bulldogs out-shot the Tigers from the field, 60%-43%, while also finishing with a 36-29 rebounding advantage.

Nemanja Djurisic led the way for Georgia, with 17 points and six rebounds, while Charles Mann added 16.

In a losing cause for LSU, Andre Stringer and Jordan Mickey scored 19 points apiece, with Stringer dishing out six assists, and Mickey pulling down seven rebounds.

With the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 11-10, overall, and 5-4 in SEC play, while the Tigers fell to 14-7, overall, and 4-4 in league play.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, when they host the Auburn Tigers.
