Garvey, Hershiser looking to buy Dodgers?

The Los Angeles Dodgers are not for sale.

Not yet, anyway.

But if they do go on the block, count former Dodgers Orel Hershiser and Steve Garvey as two that might be interested.

According to ESPN.com, Garvey and Hershiser are forming an exploratory ownership group.  They met with possible investors on Friday.

Current owner Frank McCourt is trying to put together enough money to make the club's June 15 payroll.  If he is unsuccessful, Major League Baseball could formally take control of the team.
