Ragin' Cajun Women's Basketball is 9-2, and if Garry Brodhead's group survives a four game road stretch, they'll be sitting pretty in the Sun Belt.

The Cajuns face four straight games on the road, then they return back to the Cajundome for a five game home stretch. It's almost like Brodhead's team has to play their season in phases, but he's trying to take it one game at a time. The strategy is working so far.

"We're focused on the Arkansas schools right now," Brodhead said. "That's what's great about our team, they don't worry about the future much."

A stout Arkansas-Little Rock team starts off their journey away from the Cajundome, followed up by trips to Arkansas State, Georgia Southern and Georgia State. That much time on the road can wear a team down, but the Cajuns are built to grind.

Keke Veal (groin) is making progress, and Brodhead hopes to have her back in action for this pivotal Sun Belt stretch. No other serious health concerns plague his team, so getting Veal back to one hundred percent would be a massive plus, especially on offense.

Brodhead spent some time with local media this week breaking down the Cajuns' path ahead, but he's trying to keep his eyes from wandering too far ahead. If you lose sight on the ground below, you might trip and fall.
