Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns play their final non conference game tonight when they host the Gentlemen of Centenary (0-19) tonight at the Cajundome.

Tipoff for the game is 7:05pm.  ESPN1420 will have the broadcast beginning at 6:35.

Centenary is in the final year of their transition to Div. III.  The Gents are still a member of the Summit Conferernce.

First year coach Adam Walsh has six freshmen on his 12-man roster.  All six freshmen have started at least one game.

Junior guard Maxx Nakwaasah leads the Gents in scoring, and is second on the team in rebounding behind teammate Jeron Trotman.

Centenary returns only five players from last years' squad as several players took advantage of the immediate eligibility transfer rule, given Centenary's intentions to drop to Division III.  Ragin Cajuns guard David Perez was a member of the Gents' squad last season.  In fact, Perez hit for 22 points to lead Centenary to an upset win over the Cajuns.

The Gents lead the all time series, but this is only the second meeting since 2002.  Most of the games between the two teams were prior to 1970.

Cajuns' senior guard Randall Daigle enters the game tonight only 17 points shy of 1000 for his career.  The Northside high produce scored in double figures in the Cajuns' last game Saturday at UALR.  Freshman guard J. J. Thomas has a double-double in each of his last two games.

The Cajuns will continue their three game homestand Saturday night against Louisiana-Monroe.
