Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are in Monroe.  Their leadoff hitter and centerfielder is not.

Alex Fuselier, who leads the Cajuns in runs scored and walks, will miss the series because of a back injury.  He did not make the trip to the team, staying behind in Lafayette for treatment.

His status for the conference tournament next week in Monroe is unknown at this time.

Fuselier was hitting .311 on the season.  His fourteen stolen bases also lead the team.

It is unknown at this time how Cajuns' coach Tony Robichaux will juggle his lineup for tonight.

One possibility is to move Mike Petello to center, Matt Goulas to right and insert Daniel Nichols in the lineup.  In that scenario, shortstop Greg Fontenot would probably lead off.

Or, the Cajuns could play Lance Marvel in left field and hit Ryan Leonards leadoff as the designated hitter.

Cajuns' baseball can be heard tonight on espn1420 with the pregame show at 5:30.  News/Talk 96.5 KPEL will join the broadcast at 6pm.
