A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun standout is looking for a new professional football home.

Defensive tackle Kevon Perry was recently released by the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football.

The head coach of the Express is NFL Hall of Famer, and former San Francisco 49ers coach, Mike Singletary

Perry, who played two years for Louisiana, 2016-2017, played his high school ball at Burgard Vo-Tech in Buffalo, New York, prior to spending two years at Allan Hancock (California) Junior College.

The 6-foot-1, 298-pound Perry who had a team-high 10.5 tackles for loss as a senior with the Cajuns, garnering honorable mention All-Sun Belt Conference honors in the process.

The 8-team AAF plans to begin its inaugural, 10-week season on February 9, 2019.
