Former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun defensive back Tracy Walker turned a few heads this week, during practices for the East/West Shrine Game.

Emory Hunt, CEO of Football Gameplan is one expert who is high on Walker.

Recently, on ESPN 1420's "The Starting Lineup",  Hunt said Walker, a Brunswick, Georgia native, was a "definite NFL player. Someone that can certainly help on defense, as a safety, and on special teams."

A defensive back, Walker compiled 97 tackles and two interceptions in 2017, and finished his stellar career at UL with 276 tackles and 8 interceptions over 50 games.

Walker becomes the second Louisiana player in as many years to be invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game, with former Cajun, and current New York Jets running back Elijah McGwire playing in last year's game.

The 93rd annual East-West Shrine Game will be played on Saturday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
