Former New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, who served as interim head coach for the first six weeks of the 2012 season in the aftermath of bountygate, was arrested early this morning in Florida for battery and assault charges.

Kromer, now an offensive line coach with the Buffalo Bills, allegedly punched a boy in the face, then threatened to kill his family if he told his police according to an ESPN report.

Kromer and his son reportedly got into an argument with three boys who were fishing over several beach chairs, eventually ending with Kromer's alleged assault and threat.

Kromer left New Orleans after the 2012 season to become offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears. Late last season, he cried during an apology to his team after admitting he criticized his quarterback Jay Cutler on the record to an NFL Network employee.
