A former member of the New Orleans Saints has a new home.

Maulet, who played in parts of the last two seasons in New Orleans, was claimed off of waivers by the Indianapolis Colts back in September, before being waived in November, after accumulating 9 tackles in 5 games.

A native of Kenner, the Saints waived Maulet, after he appeared in one of the first two games this season, without making a tackle.

After being waived by the Colts, Maulet completed the 2018 season on the Saints practice squad.

The 25-year old Maulet signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.

In 2017, which he split between the Saints' active and practices squad rosters, Maulet appeared in six games, mainly on special teams.

Maulet played his college football at Memphis, where he compiled 73 tackles, including 57 solo stops, to go along with 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions as a senior in 2016.
