After playing last season with the Washington Redskins, former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun linebacker Otha Peters is now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Peters' agent released the news last night on twitter.

The former first-team All Sun Belt selection signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with Seattle last year before being cut just before the season.

In November, he signed with Washington's practice squad, eventually breaking through to the active 53 man roster. He appeared in 3 games late in the season on special teams.

Peters racked up 94 tackles, 11 of them for a loss in his senior season with Louisiana two years ago.
