Green Bay had a bit of a Ragin' Cajun flavor over the last month.

Three former Louisiana football players, Packers 6th round pick defensive tackle Christian Ringo, undrafted free agent running back Alonzo Harris, and undrafted free agent wide receiver James Butler all battled in training camp and preseason to make their NFL dreams come to life.

While Butler fell victim to camp cuts on Tuesday, and Ringo fell victim on Saturday, Harris' dream become a reality when he made the Packers 53 man roster.

Ringo's goal of making the 53 man roster is still in front of him, as he signed with Green Bay's practice squad earlier today.

He had several practice squad contract offers around the league, but elected to remain with the franchise that drafted him.

In his senior season, Ringo tallied 45 tackles and a school record 11.5 sacks.

His work ethic, dedication and skill set could lead to a future contract on the active roster.
