Commissioners of the eleven BCS conferences, along with Notre Dame Athletics Director Jack Swarbrick and other officials are meeting in Hollywood, FL this week to try and hammer out details for a four-team college football playoff beginning after the 2014 season.

According to sources, the semifinal and championship games would be played at neutral sites, after discussing the possibility of playing at campus sites.

It also appears the proposal to only allow conference champions to be eligible for the playoffs does not have the support to pass.

Still to be worked out are how the traditional bowls, the Sugar, Rose, Orange and Fiesta would fit in to the scenario.  It is possible all three games could be put up for bidding.

The commissioners also want the bowl season to end closer to New Years' Day.
