Five SEC schools, including the LSU Tigers, Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Tennessee Volunteers have advanced into the Women's College World Series, which will get underway on Thursday, at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

LSU will be making the fourth trip in program history to the WCWS, after defeating the Arizona Wildcats, in two-straight games, by scores of 8-0 and 10-5, to win the Baton Rouge, La. Super Regional.

LSU, the #5-national seed, will play fellow SEC member Auburn, the 5th-overall seed, in their first WCWS game, after Auburn qualified for Oklahoma City for the first time ever by defeating Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns by scores of 12-11 and 6-3, to win the Auburn, Alabama Super Regional.

Florida, the top-seed, and the defending national champions, won the Gainesville, Florida Super Regional with back-to-back win over the Kentucky Wildcats, and move on to the WCWS where they will take on another SEC school, the Tennessee Volunteers, the #8-national seed, who won the Knoxville, Tennessee Super Regional by winning two of three games from the Florida St. Seminoles.

The final SEC school, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the 2014 WCWS runners-up, and #6-national seed, won the Tuscaloosa, Alabama Super Regional, winning two of three games against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The three schools joining the five SEC schools in Oklahoma City later this week will be the Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, and UCLA Bruins.

All three of those schools won their respective Super Regional series, 2-0.

Michigan, a Big Ten member, will play Alabama in their first game in the WCWS, while Oregon and UCLA, two Pac-12 school, will play each other in an opening round match-up.
