It's time to make Ole Miss FEAR THE BEARD! Before the Cajuns Saturday Super Regional game vs. Ole Miss, ESPN1420 will hand out 4,000 beards to Cajun nation. Fans will show their support by following the 2014 Ragin' Cajun baseball tradition.

Louisiana head coach Tony Robichaux typically doesn't allow his team to grow facial hair throughout the season. However, this year was different. Jace Conrad (pictured) convinced Robe to let the team grow out their beards. However, there was a catch. The deal was if the Cajuns lost back-to-back games, they'd shave.

Well, guess what. It's June, and the #1 ranked Cajuns (57-8) have yet to lose back-to-back games.

ESPN1420 will be handing out thousands of beards this Saturday outside the gates of M.L. Tigue Moore Field as part of our "Fear the beard" promotion, courtesy of Chris & Mamie Russo with The Renegade Companies.

Man, woman, or child, it doesn't matter. All of Ragin' Cajun nation will will be rocking beards for the Super Regional.

Catch all the action from M.L. "Tigue" Moore field on NewsTalk, 96.5 KPEL, kpel965.com, and RadioPup. Pre-game Saturday evening is set for 6:30. First pitch follow at 7:00. Jay Walker has the call. He'll also have a beard.
