Welcome to Wavier Wire Tuesday, week three edition.

The 2018 season is still in its early stages and already there are many questions that you need answers to when it comes to your lineup. How do you replace Joe Mixon who will be out for a couple weeks, is Ryan Fitzpatrick for real, for real, and you have to decide whether or not certain players are for real.

Now, it's time to see which players I'm targetting this week on your waiver wires, as we've talked about the waiver wire when used correctly, can be a deadly weapon to the success of your season.

The choice is yours and yours alone. Choose wisely, my friends.

Running Backs:

Giovani Bernard (CIN, Owned in 40% of Leagues)

As I had previously mentioned, Joe Mixon is taking an early season sabbatical as he had a procedure to scope out the knee and he'll miss a couple weeks. With Mixon on the shelf, this adds a big emphasis on his backup Bernard who everybody will be scrambling to add this week in 60% of leagues. He won't be as effective as Mixon on the ground but he'll be able to help the offense enough through the air which will make his ground production tolerable.

Corey Clement (PHI, Owned: 22.6% of ESPN Leagues)

I mentioned this guy last year but coming into this year with Darren Sproles coming back, Jay Ajayi leading the way, and Wendall Smallwood still in the mix I wasn't quite sure. However, Clement has found himself a nice little role within this Philadelphia offense, he's made himself into a versatile back who can run the football and now can catch the ball out of the backfield which makes him dangerous. Monitor Darren Sproles health because if Sproles is out, Clement will continue to see a good amount of work.

Corey Grant (JAX, Owned in 2% of Leagues)

Leonard Fournette was out last week against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury and it was TJ Yeldon who got the start. However, this cat Corey Grant looked pretty darn explosive and was only out-touched by two by Yeldon. If Fournette continues to miss time this is a guy who you can look to in a little bit of a deeper league that may be involved in the Jags offense.

Wide Receiver:

Tyler Boyd (CIN, Owned in 1% of Leagues)

Don't look now but we've got ANOTHER Bengal on the list! I was really impressed with what we saw on Thursday from Boyd, he seems to be the number two receiver behind, of course, AJ Green. I know Thursday was a while ago and you may have forgotten about him but he had a solid game against the Baltimore Ravens (six of nine targets for 91 yards and a touchdown). As I had mentioned previous, Mixon is out for a couple weeks and that means Andy Dalton is going to throw the ball a little more than usual, do yourself a favor if you need wide receiver depth to go and grab Boyd.

Tight End:

OJ Howard (TB, Owned in 21.6% of Leagues)

Holy Fitzmagic, he's been incredible these first two weeks for Tampa Bay and his young talented tight end OJ Howard has been good so far. He brought in three of four targets for 96 yards and a touchdown, 75 yards of that 96 came on one play but that showcased his athletism. Two other things that are encouraging are, he's playing the Pittsburgh Steelers this week and fellow tight end Cameron Brate has yet to haul in a catch. Grab Howard off the waiver wire if you need tight end help.

Best of luck in week three!
