The NFL lockout, and negative off-the-field issues were all put to bed on Thursday evening, as the New Orleans Saints, and the Green Bay Packers, put on a memorable opening night show.  

The Packers came away victorious, 42-34, in a match-up of the last two Super Bowl Champions.

Mike Freeman, of CBSSports.com, says the game was a great way to begin the year, and that the Packers served notice to the league that they want to keep their title for another year.
