Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive

United Way of Acadiana invites members of the community, employees at local businesses and members of organizations to Stuff the Bus with school supplies. This annual drive, sponsored this year by Cox Communications and Cargill, provides supplies to schools in Acadia, Lafayette, St. Martin and Vermillion parishes.

Stuff the Bus is part of United Way of Acadiana’s commitment to help more children in Acadiana enter school ready to learn, read on grade level and graduate from high school on time. Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive aims to help families by equipping students with the tools they need to learn and be successful in school. We need your help to supply kids with the “write” stuff.

Stuff the bus begins July 15 and ends on July 31. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital – 1101 Kaliste Saloom Rd., Lafayette, LA

August 8
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church – 101 E. Vermilion St., Abbeville, LA

Construction paper

Red pens
Erasers
Glue sticks
Binders
Highlighters
Pencil sharpeners
Index cards
Loose-leaf paper
