5th Annual Erath Firefighters’ Chili Cook-off/Family Fun Day

The 5th annual Erath Firefighters' Chili Cook-off and Family Fun Day is set for Saturday, March 28th at the QSA RV Park.
The days will begin at 7am with registration for the cook-off at 8am. Judging will be at 11:30am with serving at noon as well as LeeRoy Thomas on stage. The live auction will begin at 3pm and Mike Dean will take the stage at 5pm. The winners of the cook-off will be announced at 5:30pm and Chubby Carrier will take the stage at 8pm.
The chili categories are regular, wildlife, and fire department. Initial chili entry: $30, additional chili entry: $15, initial dessert entry: $15, and additional dessert entry: $10
There will also be fun jumps for the kids.
There will also be an open mic session from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, March 27th. From 8pm to 11pm Toogie Bergeron, Layne Touchet, and the Cajun Mix Band.
Reserved Camper Parking is available for $100. Each camper and cooking team will receive 4 weekend pass bracelets.
Entry fee is $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12 and 5 and under get in free.
