Europe Dominates US to Retain Ryder Cup
This time, Europe left no doubt.
After a miraculous comeback two years ago to stun the US and win the Ryder Cup, there was no drama this time around. Europe took a 10-6 lead into individual match play Sunday and continued their domination, ending the suspense just four matches into Sunday play. Europe went 3-0-1 in the first four matches to seal their third straight Ryder Cup win and eighth in the last ten tries.
The final tally was Europe 16 1/2, the US 10 1/2.
