One day after being named to the Doak Walker Award watch list, Louisiana Ragin' Cajun running back Elijah McGuire has landed on another prestigious watch list for the 4th time this summer.

The Walter Camp Award, presented to the 2015 Player of the Year, announced their watch list of 50 players today, with McGuire being among the 50.

Already on the prestigious Paul Hornung Award watch list (most versatile player) and Maxwell Award watch list (best player in college football), McGuire's preseason honors continue to pile up.

McGuire, the reigning 2014 Sun Belt Conference player of the year, has rushed for 2127 yards and 22 touchdowns, while adding 67 catches for 852 yards and another 5 touchdowns over the last two years.

A junior from Houma, Elijah is one of two players in school history (Tyrell Fenroy) to rush for more than 2,000 plus yards in his first two seasons.

McGuire's 7.61 average yards per carry was third best in the NCAA last season.

The Walter Camp Award will be presented on December 10th. It is voted on by 128 NCAA FBS head coaches and SIDs (sports information directors).
