New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is a really, really good guy. He has helped so many people right here in Louisiana, and this week, he changed the life of a California teenager.

Alex Ruiz, of Temecula, was injured so badly in a football accident last year that he had to have his foot amputated. Brees was at a Del Mar Flag Football event last week, when he surprised the brave teen with a walking prosthetic leg. He also told Ruiz that as soon as he gets the hang of the new limb, he'll replace it with an athletic one so that he can continue with his dreams of playing football.

Watch the video here. And did we mention how happy we are to have this man as one of our own here in the great state of Louisiana? Thank you, Drew Brees for being the kind of person we all should aspire to be.
