Drew Brees Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week

Two days after breaking Dan Marino‘s single season passing yards record, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Brees was also honored as the NFC OPW in weeks 7 and 12.
On Monday night, Brees threw for 307 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 45-16 route over the rival Atlanta Falcons. The win sealed the NFC South for the Saints, assuring them of at least 1 home playoff game. New Orleans is 7-0 at the Mercedes Benz Superdome this season.
New Orleans closes out their regular season at home this Sunday. They host the Carolina Panthers at noon.
