A half-inning later, in the top of the seventh inning,In the top of the seventh, Dodgers pitch Zack Greinke hit Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero in the back, drawing a warning from the umpire. Both teams went on the field, but with no punches thrown.

Then, in the bottom half of the seventh, Kennedy hit Greinke in the upper left shoulder. The ball then deflected off Greinke's helmet, and that's when the hostilities really started.
