Date and Time for R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Announced

The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation has announced the 2012 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will be played at a later date in 2012.

And, it will kickoff before noon.

The bowl, which drew a record crowd  of 42,841 a year ago when Louisiana defeated San Diego State, will be played on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 and will kick off at 11am.

This will be the first time the New Orleans Bowl will have a daytime kickoff.
