The New Orleans Saints dropped their season-opener on Thursday night, falling to the Green Bay Packers, 42-34. But there were some bright spots, and one of them was the play of running back/return man Darren Sproles.

Sproles, who the Saints signed as a free agent during the shortened offseason, made an instant impact with his new team.

Nakia Hogan, of the Times-Picayune, reports that Sproles contributed 250 all-purpose yards to the Saints' offense on Thursday night.
