Former New Orleans Saints defensive back Darren Sharper and two other men have been indicted by an Orleans Parish grand jury on two counts of aggravated rape.

The alleged incident occurred at an apartment on Tchoupitoulas St. which is located in the Warehouse District in New Orleans.

According to the complaint, Sharper and Eric Nunez allegedly raped a woman on September 23, 2013 at 10am.  A second victim alleges she was also raped on the same day by the two men.

St. Bernard Parish Deputy Brandon Liccardi was also indicted after an investigation showed he exchanged text messages and images with Sharper around the time the woman made the accusation.

All three could face life in prison if convicted.

Sharper is currently in jail in Los Angeles while investigations continue into as many as eight alleged rapes and eleven druggings in four states.  He has also be indicted in Tempe, Arizona.

Sharper was a five time Pro Bowler and was on the Saints' Super Bowl team.
