Below, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney calls Colin Cowherd, host of "The Herd" FS1, a "fraud", following the Tigers' 35-31 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night.

I like Swinney, and I'm happy for Clemson, I really am...but you just won the national title, and you're responding to what some sports-talk show says?

Come on, coach!

Cowherd is just taking a side, maybe not even 100% believing what he's saying.

I don't even believe that Cowherd believed that Clemson was a fraud. He was just trying to push some buttons, and be entertaining; and due to the fact that Swinney chose to address Cowherd's comments after he just guided his team to the national championship shows me that it worked.

Folks, a lot of what the media (sports, political, and entertainment) says is to elicit a response.
