What a Super Regional we had over the past week! Four game three's with a winner take all price tag attached to them. The last game we saw, Florida vs. Auburn was a classic with an unfortunate ending.

A classic match-up of two SEC schools battling it out into extra innings on Monday night, stalemated at 2 runs apiece into the eleventh inning.

In the bottom of the eleventh Florida led off with sophomore outfielder Austin Langworthy. He would be facing freshman right-hander Cody Greenhill who he had hit a home-run against in the ninth inning the night before.

What happened next was pretty devastating for Auburn:

Steven Williams, a freshman who had it, he had it, until he didn't have it. Not sure the ball would have gone out of the yard for a home-run but Williams went back, seemed to time his jump well, he had it in the pocket of his glove, then it bounced out of the pocket, and over the wall for a walk-off home-run...

The home-run sent Florida back to the College World Series to defend their title and for the Tigers, they were sent home.

Can't help thinking back to the missed tackle rookie Marcus Williams for the New Orleans Saints had in the playoffs when I watch this play.
