Craig James to Run for U. S. Senate
ESPN football analyst and former SMU star Craig James is filing papers to run in the Republican Primary for the U. S. Senate.
James, whose son Adam made news a couple of years ago when he accused former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach of mistreatment, has been working for ESPN as a college football analyst for several years.
James was a member of the famed SMU Pony Express and spent five seasons with the New England Patriots after playing two years in the defunct USFL.
