Is the Atlantic Coast Conference soon going to be the next conference to expand to what is being call a "super conference"?

Is the ACC checking out potential members, as a proactive step, in case they lose some of their current members?

Whatever the case, a high ranking ACC official told ESPN.com that Syracuse and Pittsburgh, currently with the Big East Conference, have applied for membership into the ACC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heather Dinich, of ESPN.com, reports that Pitt and Syracuse are just two of ten schools to reportedly express interest in the ACC.
