"The Notorious" Conor McGregor is the interim UFC Featherweight Champion, but fight sports' foremost maniac isn't done proving how dangerous he is.

Whenever Jose Aldo returns to full health, McGregor will be waiting. He hopped a fence and yelled in the champs' face after knocking out his opponent to earn his title shot. Aldo's injury put off his date with McGregor's gloves, so Chad Mendes had to serve as his victim in the meantime. A second round TKO at UFC 189 ensured McGregor a shot at Aldo when he returns to health and a chance to remove the term "interim" from his champion's title.

Not only is McGregor loud, braggadocios and aggressive, he can back up every ounce of it in the octagon. Boxing thrived when Mike Tyson was knocking people out with satisfaction and when Muhammad Ali got to shooting off at the mouth. It's the best when you get entertainment in and outside of the ring. McGregor is doing exactly that for the UFC.

Being completely honest, I tried to hate McGregor. As a UFC fan, I found his antics disrespectful and approaching a gimmick...until I saw what he did to Dustin Poirier. The local Acadiana fighter was assaulted from the opening bell by a man who I quickly realized had far more bite than bark. You don't have to like McGregor or the way he carries himself, but you better get used to him. If Dana White is smart, he keep him in the spotlight.

Who knows what will happen next with "The Notorious" Conor McGregor on the loose?
